Letter from the Administrator
Life in a nursing home is isolating during the coronavirus crisis, but there are ways family members can keep their relatives — and themselves — as content as can be during this difficult period. Visitors can’t come inside the facility, but many families are coming to the facility anyway to chat through windows, or at least hold up signs. We have teleconferencing set up so that residents can video chat with family and friends, walkie-talkies, and in other cases, even a simple phone call can cheer your loved one up. For the safety and well-being of our residents, with COVID cases exploding in our region, it has been decided to stop outside visits at this time. We will continue to allow visits at your loved ones window or at the front entry through the glass. We can also set up times for Facetime chats if that is what you prefer. If you would like to visit at the front, please call Crystal in Social Service and schedule a time to do so. Our priority is the safety of your loved one.
