Letter from the Administrator

Well, I hope each of you enjoyed both days of spring; because summer is here. If you will be taking your loved one out for the day, please remember to let the assisted living director or one of the nurses know, so that each resident can be accounted for in case of emergency. We do recommend, that if you are going out, try doing activities that are in air conditioned buildings. Even then, please, plenty of water. Dehydrations is one of the primary reasons seniors have to visit the emergency room every year. Keep hydrated.

Again, I’d like to ask each of you, if possible, to please remove any unnecessary items from your loved ones room. Many of our residents have an abundance of clothing and items which make it difficult to move around and it may be unsafe. I recommend no more than 3-4 pairs of pants and 5 shirts. We want our residents to feel at home, but safety is a priority. Any questions or concerns, please let us know.

For Him,

Bill
